ACT Writing Test Questions

Research indicates that adolescents sometimes make risky decisions because they are incapable of understanding the possible consequences of their actions. For this reason, many feel it is a good idea to raise the minimum driving age. That way, teens would be prevented from putting themselves and others in harm's way. Others feel this is a bad decision. They say that as long as teens are taught how to drive safely, they are unlikely to endanger themselves or others.

Take a position on this issue in your essay. You can take either side or present a different point of view. Be sure to support your opinion with reasons and examples.
